Hollis Earns SSC Player of the Week Honors
Nova Southeastern men’s basketball power forward Iran Hollis, Jr. (Hollywood, Fla.) has been named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week for his performance in wins on the road against Palm Beach Atlantic and Tampa. This marks the first time NSU has won three SSC men’s basketball Player of the Week honors in a season.
Hollis averaged 16 points and 7 rebounds in a pair of Shark road victories last week. Hollis scorched the nets by shooting 73 percent (11-for-15) from the field and 92 percent (11-for-12) at the free throw line. Complete Release
