Sherman Library hosts Hispanic Heritage Month: Nature, Symbolism, Mysticism, and Color Exhibit
NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month on September 15 with a reception at the library’s Adolfo and Marisela Cotilla Gallery. The gallery is currently featuring the Nature, Symbolism, Mysticism, and Color Exhibit, (through Oct. 18), curated by Adriana Bianco. Over 130 people attended the exhibit reception which followed a screening of the film El Angel del Acordeón at the NSU Knight Auditorium. The film is part of the free Cine Argentino film series organized by Adriana Bianco and hosted by the library honoring Hispanic Heritage Month. President Hanbury and Felipe Gómez González, Vice Consul of Communications and Community for the Republic of Colombia were in attendance at the film screening.
