Halmos Alumna Works with Navy Marine Mammal Program

Halmos College Alumna Cristie Ledon (B.S. ‘06 , M.S. ’16) is now working at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. Part of her work is with the Navy Marine Mammal Program. “Wish I could have included photos of my dolphins but those boys are classified and I’m not allowed to publish their photos!” Ledon said.

Another part of her work as an undergraduate academic advisor at Scripps. She works with students in the majors of marine biology, earth sciences, and oceanic and atmospheric majors.
