Hagopian Named PBC Women’s Coach of the Year in Busy Second Day of PBC Championship

NSU Head Coach Bryan Hagopian and Peach Belt Commissioner David Brunk.

The NSU track and field teams head into the final day of the 2014 Peach Belt Conference Championship after a busy Friday, April 18 at Barron Stadium. The Sharks earned several honors, including head coach Bryan Hagopian earning the PBC Women’s Track and Field Coach of the Year award.

Aside from Hagopian, seniors Brittaney Smash (Arlington, Texas) and Derrick Wood (Royal Palm Beach, Fla.) each were named to the PBC Track and Field Sportsmanship Team. In the competition, the women currently sit in first place with 82.5 points. The men head into the final day after moving up to third place with 49 points. Complete Release
