Guy Harvey’s Newest Documentary Part of Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Oct. 30
Have Great White sharks, well, jumped the shark?
Find out as Tiger Shark Express, a remarkable adventure story inspired by five years of expeditions and research across the Atlantic comes to Bailey Hall on the Broward College campus in Davie. Guy Harvey, renowned marine artist, scientist and explorer and two-time Emmy award winner George Schellenger will be on hand to introduce and discuss the making of the documentary that focuses on Tiger Sharks.
The presentation is scheduled for 7 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 30 as part of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival 2013. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and can be purchased online (https://www.eventbrite.com/event/8513599405/?ref=ebapi).
Tiger Shark Express takes viewers on a scenic and scientific voyage that will change the way we view these magnificent sharks and how we seek to protect them. In the film, Harvey is joined by Mahmood Shivji from the Guy Harvey Research Institute at NSU’s Oceanographic Center and other shark experts.
