Guard You Heart Zombie 5k Fun Run, March 31

Guard You Heart Zombie 5k Fun RunNova Southeastern University’s Department of Physical Therapy hosts its first inaugural Guard You Heart Zombie 5k Fun Run. Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiology department. The second half of the race profits will go back to the NSU DPT.

The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting healthcare provided to the communities served. Every donation received will benefit the Pediatric Cardiac Fund which helps the many patients being treated at JDCH. These funds can be used for – education, medical equipment and various programs. With the support of our donors, we help heal the body, mind and spirit of those we touch.

The Physical Therapy Department is an accredited doctorate level degree that is part of NSU’s Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences. As part of their mission and vision statements, faculty, students, and alumni of the program engage in activities that facilitate professionalism, service, and scholarship. NSU students strive to excel in serving those in need within their local, national and global communities. Funds will be used to foster future community service activities.
