GSCIS Professor and Student Co-Author Paper on Information Security
NSU Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) associate professor Frank Mitropoulos, Ph.D., recently co-authored a paper in the Fourth Annual Association of Information System’s Special Interest Group on Information Security and Privacy’s Workshop on Information Security & Privacy (WISP 2009).
The paper, titled “Data Integrity as a Cross-Cutting Concern,” was written with GSCIS doctoral candidate Crystal Edge and is based on her ongoing dissertation work.
The research applies quantitative software modularity metrics to object and aspect-oriented implementations of the Secure Communication design pattern for providing data integrity and authenticity.
