GSCIS Doctoral Student Receives Scholarship from Project Management Institute
Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences doctoral student Simon Cleveland is the 2013 recipient of the Harold Kerzner, Ph.D., Scholarship, funded by the International Institute for Learning, Inc. The scholarship is awarded through the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation.
Each year the scholarship fund awards four academic scholarships valued at $7,500 each to graduate and undergraduate students studying project management at degree-granting colleges and universities. This is the second year Cleveland has received the honorable scholarship.
Cleveland is pursuing his doctoral degree in information systems and holds the esteemed Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications. He serves as an applications analyst and project manager for the Collier County Government.
