GSCIS Announces Continuing Ed Courses in iOS and Android Application Development, Ends March 26

Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) is pleased to announce Continuing Education on-campus courses this upcoming March!

iOS Essentials

Weekdays, March 24 – 26

8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Take one of these 3-day intensive introductory courses to learn the essentials of application development. Course materials, lunch and snacks are included. The courses will be held in GSCIS’s Mobile Computing Lab where students will have access to top-of-the-line iMacs.

A 20% course discount is available to current NSU students, alumni and staff.

Currently, the Android and Apple iOS platform dominate the United States mobile market share, with Android leading at 51.5% and Apple with 41.8 %.1 In 2013, Apple stated 1.25 million apps had been created in the app store with $5 billion paid to developers, whereas 800,000 Android apps were developed with a payout of $900 million to developers.2 In an era where most depend on mobility and functionality of mobile applications, demand for mobile application developers has surged with shortage of available talent!3
