GSCIS Alum Named Dean of Strayer’s School of Information Systems
Bill Dafnis, Ph.D., a 2009 alum of NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, has been named Dean of Strayer University’s School of Information Systems.
Dafnis joined Strayer University in June 2009 as a faculty member teaching online computer information science (CIS) courses and serving first as Associate Campus Dean for the online graduate business faculty and then as Campus Dean of the Orlando Campus. Prior to joining Strayer University, he designed and taught courses in CIS and business management at DeVry University and at the University of Phoenix.
He has also had a distinguished 20-year career in the corporate sector managing large, complex operations and special projects for communications firms, including the Chicago Tribune Company and Orlando Sentinel Communications.
