Summer Reading Program Begins at NSU’s Library, June 12
Have a blast this summer without spending a dime by making NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library your one-stop shop for fun activities for all ages.
For the tenth year in a row, FREE programming for youth, teens and adults will begin on June 12 and last through Aug. 6 at the Alvin Sherman Library.
The festivities start with the FREE Summer Reading “One World, Many Stories” Kick-off Party on Sunday, June 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the only library open on Sundays in Broward County.
At the party, participants can sign up to win prizes for reading all summer long. The party, hosted with South Florida Parenting, will also feature an Island Hopping adventure, including a Limbo Contest with prizes, Hula Contest, Polynesian Lei Crafts and a show.
For more information about the many other FREE summer activities available, please visit www.nova.edu/library/summer or call 954-262-5477.
