John K. Miller, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), has published an article in Contemporary Family Therapy. The article, entitled “Family Functioning and Social Support in Men and Women Diagnosed with Depression in China,” was co-authored with Jikun Wang, MD, Ph.D. and Xudong Zhao, MD, and was based on a research project conducted by the three scholars last summer in China.
Wang is at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China. Zhao is with the School of Medicine at Tongi University in Shanghai, China. Miller’s research interests include international issues in counseling, couples, and family therapy; innovative clinical service delivery systems; core competencies in psychotherapy; and brief, check-up, and single-session treatment models.
