Graduate Professional Success Series Workshop, Feb. 28

On Thursday, Feb. 28, the College of Health Care Sciences’ Office of Student Affairs will host its monthly, “Graduate Professional Success Series” (GPS) workshop. This month the topic will be ”Professional Skills to Pay Your Bills.” This dynamic discussion based workshop will take CHCS students through a guide dialogue about the kinds of professional skills and behaviors that are required to be successful in clinical internship experience and in future full time employment. Alison Herman, MPH, OTR/L, assistant professor of Occupational Therapy will lead this discussion for students. All CHCS students on the main campus and at the Student Educational Centers are invited to attend.

Thursday, Feb. 28 |noon-1 pm
5th Floor, Chancellors Dining Room, HPD Terry Building.

Students at the Student Educational Centers will be able to participate in the workshop via video conference. The event is co-sponsored by CHCS Office of Student Affairs, Chartwells Dining, CHCS Student Government Associations, and the Office of Student Affairs at the Student Educational Centers. The “GPS” workshop series has been widely popular with students in CHCS each month and provided much needed professional and personal development for graduate students in the College. Lunch will be provided to students who attend and door prizes are given out. Students on the main campus can attend and be entered into a drawing for a twenty-five dollar gift card to Quarterdeck Restaurant. Students at the Student Educational Centers have the chance to win NSU merchandise.
