Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences Doctoral Student Receives Scholarship from the Project Management Institute
Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences doctoral student Simon Cleveland is the 2012 recipient of the Dr. Harold Kerzner Scholarship, funded by the International Institute for Learning, Inc. The scholarship is awarded through the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation.
Each year the scholarship fund awards four academic scholarships valued at $7,500 each to graduate and undergraduate students studying project management at degree-granting colleges and universities.
Most recently Cleveland presented a paper at the 13th International IEEE Conference on Information Reuse and Integration (IRI) in Las Vegas, which was also published in the conference proceedings entitled, “In Search of User Privacy Protection in Ubiquitous Computing.”
Cleveland is pursuing his doctoral degree in information systems and holds the esteemed certification of Project Management Professional (PMP). He serves as an application analyst and project manager for the Collier County Government.
