Get Ready for NSU’s Safety Fair, June 27
Fins Up For Safety! You are invited to the NSU Safety Fair on Wednesday, June 27, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm in the Carl DeSantis Atrium on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus.
Come out and receive $10 in Rally dollars as you learn ways to reduce injuries and accidents. Attendees will also enjoy free giveaways, healthy snacks and can enter drawings to receive special prizes.
Safety presentations will be presented and will cover a variety of topics including:
- Automated External Defibrillators (AED) Demonstration
- Natural First Aid Remedies, presented by Lynn Lafferty, Pharm. D., associate professor, Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine
- Stop The Bleed, presentation by Davie Fire Rescue
- Personal Safety, presented by NSU PSO
- Internet Safety and Privacy for Home and Work, presented by NSU OIIT
- The Connected Worker: Modernize Safety Risk Management, presented by Office of Risk Management
The recipient of this year’s Safety Award will also be announced and will receive a $100 gift card.
