Get Ready for NSU’s Annual Shark Shuffle
NSU’s Annual Shark Shuffle 5K Run and Walk will take place on Sunday, Oct. 12. Designed to promote health and wellness among the NSU community, the Shark Shuffle is open to everyone -faculty, staff, students, and community – regardless of your level of ability.
Shark Shuffle Details:
Location
Head to the Alvin Sherman Library on the NSU main campus; the start line will be directly across from the library.
Date and Time
The race and walk are both on October 12, 2014, beginning at 7:30 a.m., with the awards ceremony following at 8:45 a.m.
Course
The 5K Run (3.1 miles) is a USATF-Certified Course. Certification #FL14082EBM
Entry Fees
NSU or USchool students/employees/alumni/family: $12
Community early registration: $20; community on-site registration: $25
Packet Pickup
Come to the front desk of the RecPlex in the Don Taft University Center on October 9th and 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Online Registration
Preregister online at www.rec.nova.edu/sharkshuffle or at Active.com until 2:00 p.m. October 11.
On-site Registration
Register on-site on race day from 6:00 to 7:15 a.m. inside the Alvin Sherman Library.
Restrictions
Headphones, earbuds, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, and roller skates are not permitted on the 5k Run/Walk race course.
