Genomics Core Facility Call for Proposals: 2018 Illumina RNA-Seq Pilot Grant Program

NSU’s Translational Research and Economic Development Genomics Core Facility is soliciting proposals for pilot projects utilizing the Illumina NextSeq 500 platform for RNA-Seq applications. The primary goal of this pilot grant program is to offer NSU faculty members a unique opportunity for gene expression research projects at minimal cost as a way to catalyze further next-generation sequencing studies. The proposed research must have relevance to basic, translational, and/or clinical science. This opportunity is made available through a generous donation of sample preparation kits and sequencing consumables from Illumina, Inc. The Genomics Core Facility will provide the labor requested for the sample preparation and sequencing at a heavily discounted price. The deadline for applications is Friday, June 1st 2018. Eligibility requirements and submission terms and conditions apply. Please visit the Genomics Core Facility website to apply!
