Garcia Repeats as SSC Player of the Week
NSU softball player Erika Garcia (Sr., Pembroke Pines, Fla.) has repeated as Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday, April 7.
Garcia repeated after another dominant performance to lead the Sharks to a third straight SSC series sweep and a split with No. 24 Palm Beach Atlantic. Garcia finished the week hitting .611 (11-for-18) and slugging 1.056 with two doubles and two home runs. She also collected nine RBI and scored six times. Complete Release
