Includes a screening of Crown Heights, with actor Howie Mandel as Dr. David Lazerson. Based on Lazerson’s book, Sharing Turf, the film focuses on the story of Project CURE, a grassroots group that brought together Blacks and Hasidic Jews after race riots tore apart the Brooklyn neighborhood. Q & A with Lazerson follows the screening.
