Make Friends, Lose Weight, Feel Great at NSU’s Weight Watchers at Work Program – Free Meeting Apr. 7
Join NSU’s group of lunch buddies who meet every Thursday at 12 p.m. for the Weight Watchers at Work Program. All NSU students, faculty, staff, and community partners are welcome!
The Weight Watchers at Work Program is offering a free informational meeting on Apr. 7 at 12 p.m. The meeting will be held in NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library on the third floor in the employee break room. Feel free to bring your lunch, eat, and learn more.
Meet a group of wonderful, supportive colleagues and find out how to stop dieting and start living. Below is a testimonial from our member, Caitlin Ballback:
I was so tired of everyone always complimenting me with “you have such a pretty face!” Part of me wanted to scream that there is more to me than just my face, but, weighing close to 250 pounds, others could not see this. So, in January 2006, I joined Weight Watchers and decided that it was “Now or never.”
With my busy schedule, I never thought I would be able to follow a program, but this program is so easy. Anyone could follow it and adapt it to his/her lifestyle. The best part was being able to eat anything I wanted, just in moderation. I am proud to say, I never looked back and am now the happiest I have ever been weighing in at 131 lbs. I am in the best shape of my life, and guess what…the compliments are no longer, “you have such a pretty face,” but “Wow! You look fantastic.”
The best part is, I have kept off the 114 lb weight-loss for almost a year now and I don’t intend to ever go back to being the girl with just a face!
