Freedman Secures Spot in U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship

Jamie Freedman has enjoyed plenty of success throughout her three years as a member of the Nova Southeastern women’s golf team. The senior-to-be has received All-America recognition both on the course and in the classroom, and helped guide the Sharks to their first Sunshine State Conference Championship since 2012 this past spring. However, Freedman may have accomplished her greatest feat yet as a golfer just days ago by qualifying for the 2017 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, which will take place at the San Diego Country Club in Chula Vista, California from August 7-13.
