NSU offers Free “Quit Smoking Now” Programs
NSU is now a smoke & tobacco-free campus.
Free tobacco cessation programs are available to help you quit. The NSU Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program and the Healthy Lifestyles Guided Self-Change Program offer group and individual programs designed to motivate and help smokers prepare to quit, select a quit date, and learn strategies and skills to quit and stay tobacco-free. FREE Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches, gum, lozenges) will be provided to eligible participants while supplies last.
Quit Smoking Now is a FREE 6-week tobacco cessation group.
Registration is now open for the following group, which will be held on NSU’s main campus:
- Wednesdays, July 11 – August 15, 2012, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Group will meet every Wednesday for 6 weeks (July 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15)
Individual Tobacco Cessation Programs:
Six individual sessions by appointment only
