Free Employee Workshop: Project Management Boot Camp, Aug. 28 & 29
“Project Management Boot Camp” is an accelerated two half-day session (8 hours) offering you the opportunity to learn how to use Project Management tools and techniques to help you successfully prioritize and manage projects, to finish on time, within a defined scope and budget.
You will learn:
- Hands on practical Project Management Techniques
- How to increase your ability to manage projects efficiently to save you time, money and resources
- To understand ways to engage and manage your project teams
- Techniques to be an effective and successful project manager
- How to meet the needs of your project sponsor and stakeholders
- How to develop a process to prioritize your projects and responsibilities
This workshop will be facilitated by Lara Chabina-Crowe, who has experience in a number of industries, including more than twenty years of travel industry experience. She holds a Bachelors of Liberal Arts and Science in International Business from San Diego State University and was certified in 2003 by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Frankfurt Germany as a Project Management Professional (PMP). She was an active member of the PMI South Florida Chapter from 2004 to 2008, serving on the board as Vice President Administration from 2004 to 2006. More recently, she has served as the Marketing Program Manager of the Global PMI Consulting Special Interest Group from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, she was elected as Co-Leader for the Global PMI Consulting Community of Practice, a virtual community of over 7,000 members, and in 2011, she accepted the role of Community Leader. Chabina-Crowe is also a Consulting Lecturer for NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
