Free Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Seminar to be held at NSU’s Miami SEC, Dec. 1
On Saturday, Dec. 1, Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Center for Psychological Studies will offer a seminar by experts on the impact and prevention of child sexual abuse. Speakers include Lauren Book, founder of Lauren’s Kids, and Jan Faust, Ph.D., faculty, NSU Center for Psychological Studies.
The free seminar is designed for professionals, teachers and community members interested in learning more about the topic and the Safer, Smarter Kids curriculum. Attendees will learn about NSU’s psychological services that are available to the community, and receive a certificate of participation upon completion of the seminar.
Scheduled to be held during the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., the seminar will take place at NSU’s Miami Student Educational Center, which is located at 8585 SW 124th Avenue, Miami, FL 33183.
