Foundations of Excellent® Rollout Event
Recently, the College of Undergraduate Studies rolled out the recommendations for the “Implementation Phase” of the Foundations of Excellence® self-study initiative. More than 150 faculty, staff and administrators attended the “FOE Roll Out” at the Miniaci Performing Arts Theater to hear the recommendations made by the Steering Committee. The implementation phase will move the recommendations to action plans with measurable outcomes.
President Hanbury, Donald J. Rudawsky, Ph.D., Brad Williams, Ed.D., Leanne Boucher, Ph.D., and Daniel Sullivan, Ed.D., all spoke to the audience, bridging President Hanbury’s 2020 Vision with the Steering Committee recommendations. John Gardiner of the John N. Gardiner Institute joined the meeting via video conferencing to acknowledge the hard work completed so far and motivated the group.
The implementation phase will begin soon, with 15 overall recommendations to be researched, action plans developed and implemented over the next three years. The entire report with the 15 recommendations is available for review at www.nova.edu/firstyear/rollout/ . There is still time to participate on one (or more) of the implementation teams, please visit the Web site and sign up today.
