Foigel Earns SSC Women’s Golfer of the Week Honors
Aldana Foigel earned Sunshine State Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week
Nova Southeastern University’s Aldana Foigel earned Sunshine State Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week as she helped lead the Sharks to victory at the recent Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational.
Foigel (Fr., Plottier, Argentina) tied for second alongside teammate Jamie Freedman (So., Miami Beach, Fla.), shooting consistent round scores of 73-75-72 to finish just a stroke out of first. She is the team’s lowest scorer this year, with three top-10 finishes.
The Sharks are back in action this time next week at the nearby Barry U Women’s Invitational in Miami Shores.
