Fischler Student’s Performance Explores Multiple Meanings of Love, June 5
The NSU community is invited to attend a new, original performance written and directed by S. Telena Paris, a student from NSU’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services’ Interdisciplinary Arts program.
The performance, What Is Love?, explores the different ways love exists in this word to define and show the multiple meanings of love. It also takes an intricate and in-depth look at how individuals react when confronted with circumstances that might affect their lives.
What Is Love? will take place on June 5 at 7:30 p.m. in NSU’s Don Taft Performance Theater.
The performance is a collaboration between NSU and New Geno Type Productions, Inc. which will include original pieces from: Devin T. Robinson, Jermaine Harris, Laura Cruz, and a very promising cast.
“What is Love? sends us through the mind-boggling, soul-turning events of what love means to us as individuals and how it affects us in our everyday relationships,” Paris said. “This is a compassionate, exhilarating, and explosive stage play that will leave its audience talking for weeks.”
Tickets cost $10 for regular admission and $5 for students with valid ID. For tickets, please visit www.newgenotypeproductions.com to buy in advance, or purchase from the Don Taft Performance Theater Box Office the day of the show.
