NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler School of Education through its Teacher Imaginarium resource center will be offering local educators free materials and supplies donated by local business and community members for the coming 2011-2012 school year.
Teacher Imaginarium is a complete resource center for teachers and educators providing educational materials and supplies; electronic resources for teachers and students; professional development opportunities; and a forum where educators can share ideas, information and free learning tools to be applied in the classroom.
The goal of Teacher Imaginarium is to enhance the education of all students by encouraging the use of technology and research within the school curriculum, promoting innovative teaching that emphasizes 21st century skills, fostering creativity to encourage unconventional thinking in students, and promoting preservation of the environment.
The Teacher Imaginarium will be fully operational at the start of the 2011- 2012 school year. To learn more or to sign up to donate or receive supplies, please visit www.teacherimaginarium.org.
