The Fischler School of Education Friday honored 19 north Miami-Dade County Teachers of the Year, Rookie Teachers of the Year, and Paraprofessionals of the Year, their principals, and supporters at a morning reception and event, named “We Love and Respect Teachers.”

Opening remarks were given by FSE Interim Dean Ron Chenail, Ph.D., North Miami Beach Mayor George Vallejo, North Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Education Chair Christopher Colona, and Miami-Dade County Public School District #3 Board Member Martin Karp, Ed.D.
