Fischler Professor Appointed to Accreditation Group’s Program Review Board
Hui Fang Huang “Angie” Su, Ed.D., professor of mathematics education at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler School of Education, was recently appointed to the Board of Program Reviewers for the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
NCATE tasks program reviewers to work in teams to evaluate program reports submitted by an educational institution, and make a judgment as to whether the program meets standards and qualifies for national recognition.
In addition to teaching in NSU’s Fischler School, Su is program administrator and project director of the Emil Buehler Research Center for Engineering, Science and Mathematics (EBRC), and president of the Florida Distance Learning Association (FDLA).
