Fischler College on the Move

fischler relocationIn an effort to build on existing synergies and to further align all of NSU’s colleges, two exciting changes are taking place.

The Abraham S. Fischler College of Education is relocating from North Miami Beach to the Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus. This option has recently become available to us because of the relocation of the U.S. Geological Survey from the old ‘lower school’ building to the Center for Collaborative Research (CCR). Plans for the move will begin this August and are expected to be completed by the end of the fall 2016 semester.

Additionally, there will be a collaborative space created for both the Fischler College of Education and the College of Engineering and Computing on the 4th floor of the Carl DeSantis building. These changes will follow a similar timeline. No other colleges or floors of the DeSantis building will be impacted.

The Health Care Clinics housed in North Miami Beach will not be affected by these efforts and will remain in their current location.
