Film Viewing & Discussion, “Race: The Power of an Illusion,” Feb. 22

NSU’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences presents the third of the Strengths of the Black Family series with a viewing of “Race: The Power of an Illusion,” a PBS special documentation on the invention of the race as an idea in the US. The viewing and discussion will be held 11:00 .m., – 1:00 p.m., and 7:00 -9:00 p.m.

“Race: The Power of an Illusion,” discusses the social, economical and political consequences of race for Black Americans. Facilitator: NSU Family Therapy professor Debra Nixon, Ph.D. Location: Carl DeSantis Building, Knight Auditorium.
