Art: 21-Art in the 21st Century
Who are some of today’s most fascinating artists? How do they work and why? The Emmy nominated documentary Art: 21-Art in the Twenty-First Century will allow you to meet contemporary artists at work and speaking in their own words-direct, accessible and unfiltered. Contemporary art reflects the ideas of our time, and artists are the creative role models grappling with today’s most relevant questions. Why do some historical events shape the way we think today, and why have some been forgotten? Explore these concepts and many more. View three segments including the artists Ursula Von Rydingsvard, Martin Puryear and Ai Weiwei who are featured in the exhibition “Against The Grain” at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale.
90 minutes.
