Fifth Issue of Quadrivium Online Journal to be Published, Nov. 1

Join the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences for the launch of the latest issue of Quadrivium, an online journal of analytical and creative works by college faculty members and graduate Quadriviumstudents.

Quadrivium Issue 5 Launch
Friday, Nov. 1
Noon–1:00 p.m.
Alvin Sherman Library | Second Floor Gallery

Quadrivium’s fifth issue includes travel photography, an essay on commodified sports memorabilia, an analysis of evidence-based practice in clinical psychology, and two short stories by students in the college’s M.A. in Writing program, among other pieces.

Faculty and student contributors will be on hand at the launch event to read and discuss their work. All are invited to attend.

About Quadrivium

Quadrivium: A Journal of Multidisciplinary Scholarship debuted at NSU in 2009. The term “quadrivium” refers to the four arts and sciences studied in the Middle Ages. The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences has its own quadrivium with its four divisions—Humanities; Math, Science, and Technology; Performing and Visual Arts; and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

The journal’s digital format allows readers to view materials referenced in various entries. Embedded images, videos, and sound clips enhance the collection and make Quadrivium an interactive and engaging experience for readers.

For more information about Quadrivium, contact the editors: Andrea Shaw, M.F.A., Ph.D., associate professor and assistant director of the college’s Division of Humanities, and Eric Mason, Ph.D., assistant professor at the college.
