FCE’s My Favorite Teacher Project Invited to Visit the U.S. Department of Education
NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education undergraduate students, Chloe Behar and Jackie Trott, were invited to share the “My Favorite Teacher Project” with the United States Department of Education in Washington D.C.
The goal of the “My Favorite Teacher” project is to interview 5,000 people around the world by asking who their favorite teacher is/was, and what were their outstanding qualities. The students want to understand the qualities so they can develop and incorporate them into their own teaching styles before they enter their first classroom as instructors.
Those interviewed at the United States Department of Education were very interested in the project and enjoyed viewing the data that the students are collecting.
