Additionally, she has been successful in obtaining over 4 million dollars in grant funds for the Baldwin County Schools and leading the school district through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Council on Accreditation and School Improvement district accreditation process. She also led the Baldwin County School District through the Charter System process.
Price has more than 30 years in public education, receiving numerous awards and honors, including the University of Georgia Johnnie V. Recently, Georgia’s Governor, Nathan Deal, named her to serve on the Education Reform Commission.
Last month, Price was honored with two service awards. One by the Boy Scouts of Central Georgia, receiving the Whitney M.
