FCE Graduate Named Teacher of the Year at Van Wert Elementary School
Rebecca Shelton, graduate of NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education, has been named the 2018 Teacher of the Year at Van Wert Elementary School in Rockmart, Georgia.
Rebecca is a veteran school teacher of fifteen years, and is currently teaching fourth grade. She has previously taught second grade and kindergarten. It has been her lifelong wish to enter the teaching profession, following in the footsteps of her mother.
Rebecca received her Master’s (2008) and Educational Specialist Degrees (2011) at the Fischler College.
