FCE Graduate Named Board Chair of the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship
Susan May, Ed.D., graduate of NSU’s Fischler College of Education (FCE), has been named Board Chair of the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), the nation’s leading organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship through community colleges.
She is the president of Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin, a position she’s held since 2008. She has led Fox Valley through an innovation era that includes the college’s Venture Center, which offers a range of educational programs and services for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
May is also an active leader in NACCE’s Presidents for Entrepreneurship Pledge, through which college presidents pledge to fulfill five commitments designed to spur entrepreneurship in their communities. She’s been a member of NACCE since 2011 and a board member since 2012.
She earned her doctorate of education from FCE in 1998.
