FCE Graduate Joining Wakefield School as Head of School
Ashley Harper
Ashley Harper, graduate of NSU’s Fischler College of Education, is joining Wakefield School in July 2018 as their Head of School.
Harper, who currently serves as director of advancement at Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh, will relocate to The Plains, Virginia to join Wakefield School in time for the start of the next academic year, along with her husband and son. Wakefield School is an independent day school with classes ranging from junior kindergarten to 12th grade with approximately 320 students.
Harper earned a Master’s in Teaching and Learning from FCE in 2007. She was a National Association of Independent Schools Aspiring School Heads Fellow in 2011-12.
