FCE Attends Broward County Public School’s Caliber Awards
NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education (FCE) attended the Broward County Public School’s (BCPS) Caliber Awards ceremony at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center on Thursday, February 21st. This annual event recognizes and celebrates BCPS outstanding Teachers, Principals, Assistant Principals and School-Related/District Employees.
FCE was a platinum sponsor of the event and awarded a tuition discount to the four winners and twelve runners-up if they enroll at the college. Additionally, Kenneth Rockensies, Ed.D, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, provided a presentation to the 1,500+ attendees to promote NSU and FCE. The following Fischler faculty and staff members were at the event: Dr. Silvia Orta, Dr. Jia Borror, Dr. Linda Lopez, Dr. Leonard Jacobskind and Ms. Zeida Rodriguez.
