After 22 years in the suburbs, empty nesters Greg and Kate have moved back to Manhattan. Although Kate tells Greg, “The dog phase of my life is definitely over,” life has a way of providing what you think you don’t want. Greg finds Sylvia, a street-smart Labradoodle, and brings her home. Sylvia promptly becomes a bone of contention between Greg and Kate, testing their marriage to comedic and touching effect.
