Farquhar College to Host Spring Music Concert – Apr. 13

Spring is in the air! The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts will conclude its Premier Series for 2009–2010 with the Spring Music Concert on Tuesday, Apr. 13. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m., in the Performance Theatre of the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing in the Don Taft University Center on NSU’s main campus.

Come hear the sounds of rushing water, sprouting flowers, chirping crickets, and singing birds as portrayed in musical selections from the Medieval, Renaissance, Romantic, and Modern eras. The Spring Music Concert will feature soloists Michelle Mandelbaum, Yazhou Hu, Rolando del Rio, Alex Glamyan, Carlo Alberto Ricci, and Alex Weiss, as well as the Bossa Nova Chorale, under the direction of Jennifer Donelson, D.M.A., assistant professor in the Division of Performing and Visual Arts.
