Family-Friendly Freckleface Strawberry the Musical on Stage at NSU, Ends Nov. 23
The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will continue its 2014-2015 Performance Series with a new musical based on the best-selling children’s book written by actress Julianne Moore.
Performed by students in the college’s Division of Performing and Visual Arts, Freckleface Strawberry the Musical is the story of a young girl who is teased by other children for having bright red hair and freckles. Strawberry tries her best to erase her freckles––from scrubbing her face with soap to wearing a ski mask––until she finally learns to accept herself, including her freckles.
