Fall Working Paper Series Continues at Computer Sciences School

The Fall Working Paper Series at NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) continues on Tuesday, Dec. 7, where GSCIS Professor Timothy Ellis, Ph.D., will be presenting, “The Impact of Asynchronous Computer Mediated Communication Supported Project Based Teams on Sense of Connectedness in an Online Learning Environment.”

The forum is open to researchers with an interest in different aspects of computer and information sciences. Previously in November,  Michael Workman, Ph.D., from Florida Institute of Technology, presented, “A Behaviorist Perspective on Corporate Harassment Online: Validation of Theoretical Model of Psychological Motives.” His paper explores a randomized field study of a bounded population into motivations that may lead people to conduct attacks such as cyber harassment in social network sites and blog postings.

Florida Institute of Technology Professor Michael Workman, Ph.D., and GSCIS Dean Leo Irakliotis, Ph.D.

The forum is held on every first and third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. For more information, please visit http://www.scis.nova.edu/workingpapers/.
