Fall Campus Recreation Instructional Programs

Take Ballroom Dancing & Learn to Tango!

Have you ever wanted to learn the Tango?  Beginning on Monday, Sept. 10, you can take Ballroom Dancing lessons and learn the Tango.  The class will be held in the RecPlex, Multi Purpose room 1, 8:00 – 9:00 pm.    The session is four weeks in duration.  Ballroom dancing will help one to develop confidence and is a great way to health and exercise.

The cost for the class is $30 per student, $40 for members of the RecPlex, and $55 for non members.

Learn to Salsa!

Have you ever wanted to learn the Salsa? Now is your chance! Whether your intention is to learn for fun, fitness, or networking, Salsa is a great way to make new memories that will last a lifetime. The six-week class will help you build confidence in the world of Salsa and enjoy the spotlight on the dance floor.  The first class is Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7 pm.  All classes take place in the RecPlex Multipurpose room #1.

The cost for the class is $50 per student, $65 for members of the RecPlex and $80 for non members.

Want to better your putting or chipping game?  Tired of that wicked slice or hook?  Just want to shave a couple strokes off your game?  Campus Recreation is proud to announce the fall’s first golf Instructional Program scheduled to begin on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Six week session will be held on Saturdays at 9:00 am & 10:30 am.  Lessons are held at the Grande Oaks Golf Learning Center.  Instructors Scott Roland, Jeff Butler and Dan McCarthy do a great job at fitting the needs of each individual golfer.

Classes fill up quickly and each class has limited space. To register stop by the RecPlex or call  954-262-7301.  The cost for the class is $100 per student, $130 for members of the RecPlex and $160 for non members.

A confirmation email will be sent to all registered participants before the start of the first class.
