Faculty Symposium: Cybersecurity: A Few Things You Should Know, Feb. 2
RSVP by January 25
“Cybersecurity: A Few Things You Should Know” is the topic of the next Faculty Symposium on February 2, from 4:30-6:00 pm in the Faculty Club. RSVP by January 25, 2017.
Cybersecurity threats have reshaped our foreign policy and threatened some of our largest companies. These threats also impact our university procedures and our online courses. Often overlooked, most cybersecurity strategies involve people using technology rather than the mere technology itself. This Faculty Symposium will address the current impact of cyber threats, the evolving shape of modern cybercrime, safety techniques, social engineering, and cyber-ethics.
