Faculty Symposia scheduled for Jan. 5

The next symposium, scheduled for Jan. 5, 2012, will discuss,  “Have We Betrayed Our Children? Sexual Abuse of Children: Duty to Report and Psychological Ramifications of Abuse.” The speakers will be Center for Psychological Studies faculty member Jan Faust, Ph.D.,  and Shepard Broad Law Center faculty member Michael J. Dale, J.D. The venue and time will be the Faculty Shark Club, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Mark your calendar for the next Faculty Symposia on Feb. 2 when the topic of discussion will be: “Experimental Medical Treatment: Medical, Legal and Ethical Issues.” Speakers will be faculty member Kathy Cerminara, J.D., Shepard Broad Law Center and Morton A. Diamond, M.D., medical director of NSU’s Physician Assistant program (Fort Lauderdale).
