Faculty Barbeques Bring UGA Recruiting Year to a Close
The Offices of Undergraduate Recruiting and Admissions (UGA) held three Faculty Friday barbeques to welcome the incoming students for the fall and keep them engaged throughout the summer months. The newest NSU Sharks and their family members had the opportunity to chat with faculty from the various undergraduate colleges as well as to meet future classmates. Students also stay connected through the Facebook Class of 2018 page and other social media venues. The hope is for students to form an early bond with NSU, thus reducing the “summer melt” often experienced in college enrollment.
