ESPN’S Dana Jacobsen to Speak at NSU’s NGWSD Luncheon, Feb. 2

Dana Jacobson

On Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 12:00 p.m., the NSU female student-athletes and invited guests only will have the honor of seeing in person EPSN’s own Dana Jacobsen as the keynote speaker at the National Girls and Women in Sports Day Luncheon hosted in the NSU Arena at the Don Taft University Center. Jacobsen will also be honored with the Pioneer Award for her work, accomplishments and dedication to the sports industry.

Dana Jacobson is the co-host of the ESPN2 morning program ESPN First Take (formerly Cold Pizza), where she shares hosting duties for the show’s 1st and 10 debate segments.  Dana joined the show in March of 2005 after spending just over two years at ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor and radio fill-in host on both Mike and Mike In The Morning and The Dan Patrick Show. In 2006, Jacobson had the opportunity to serve as the host for XCenter during the Summer X Games. She then served the same role during the Winter X Games and has been hosting both seasons ever since.

Jacobson is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor of arts in English and communications.
