ESPN Sports Analyst Presents at Mathematics Colloquium Series, Oct. 9
Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship and the Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography alumna Tiffany Kelly (2016) will present her talk, “Using Multivariate Statistical Techniques to Aid in a Sports Index Construction” at the first of the 2017-2018 Mathematics Colloquium Series. Tiffany is in her first year of the Sports Analytics Team within ESPN Stats & Information Group as a Sports Analytics Associate.
Tiffany’s talk will expand on her student research developed at NSU and applied at ESPN: the College Football Fan Happiness Index (http://es.pn/2vmParA). Tiffany’s talk will be held at noon on October 9, in the Mailman Hollywood Auditorium.
